As I reflect on this assignment, I realize how much I did not know. It has been an awesome leaning experience. I hope to be able to visit many of these areas again. I can say that I am much more aware of the different uses of the new equipment that we are getting in our schools and classrooms. It has brought me up to another level for understanding technology and it's uses in the classrooms. I can certainly understand why children love technology. Time seems to be the only problem I see, and therefore it will need to be incorporated with lessons that are normally taught in our curriculm.
As I reflect on the different tools, I found that Wordle, Create a flickr and Brainpop for ESL students will be a few that I will revisit for using with my students. I am sure there will be more as I start to plan my year.

ReplyDeleteI am so happy for you that you seem to have mastered this wonderful tool. I'm excited to use it but first I need to master it myself. I'm in tool # 2 and haven't mastered the Avatar yet.... (the line breaks off every so often making it hard to work. Otherwise, I'm enjoying my stay here in Granada, it is a great city even though the temperatures reach 108 F!! in the afternoons.
Wow, you zipped through all 11 tools in just two days! I'm going to have to go back and start at the beginning to review your journey. I'm glad you found some applications that you can put to use right away with your kids. Let me know if I can help in any way.
